Lac St Louis region AA baseball is growing stronger.

The Lac St. Louis Cardinals and Lac St. Louis Yankees organizations have agreed to merge to become the Lac St Louis Tigers. There will now be a single AA organization that will manage all of AA baseball in the Lac St. Louis Region. The new association will manage PeeWee up to the Junior level and as such benefit its members with better and continued support as players grow in this unified and integrated system.

This is more than a name change reports appointed President Steve Shelton. The two organizations have merged to offer a better end service for the players by combining knowhow and volunteers including familiar names such as former Cardinals President Robert Litvack and others such as Bélanger, Brues, Haddad, Labelle, Majeur, Simms and Zimakas to name a few. The Tigers will field 2 or 3 PeeWee AA teams (depending on numbers), 2 Bantam AA Teams, 2 Midget AA teams and 1 Junior AA team. The Tigers association will also be working closely with the Midget AAA and Junior Elite programs.

This organization is aiming high for our region’s elite level kids to output their best and grow in one of the best sports to be part of, given baseball has much to offer. Baseball registration will be held at the start of the evaluation camps which are set to begin in the middle of March. You are cordially invited to the Lac St Louis Tigers indoor tryout camp for the upcoming 2013 baseball season.
The cost for all indoor tryouts will be payable at the first session regardless of how many sessions you attended. There will be 4 indoor sessions. We will accept cash payments, but a check is preferable. Please make the check payable to: Lac St Louis Tigers “AA” Minor Baseball Association. We look forward to seeing you there.
