Pierrefonds Baseball is always in need of coaches at the ‘A’ and ‘B’ level. This is a very rewarding experience and greatly helps out the children of our community.

Pierrefonds Baseball trains all of our coaches and no experience is necessary.
To become a coach, you must have your obtained your initiation level certificate http://pnce.baseball.ca . All fees incurred will be refunded by Pierrefonds Baseball Association.

As a key component to the player experience, Pierrefonds Baseball does all it can to prepare new and experienced coaches for the upcoming seasons. Every year  clinics and information sessions are offered to our coaches and assistant coaches.

NEW COACHES: All new coaches to Baseball must complete the basic introductory level of coaching that is offered by the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP).

To obtain what is known as the Initiation Trained level in coaching, one must complete two stages. The first stage is an online questionnaire that takes about one hour to complete. Stage two is an on field practical component that will take about 3 hours of your time. During this clinic you will learn how to run an effective practice and teach the basic skills for baseball. The instructors will also give tips on how to explain the fundamentals of the game to young children.

You will be permitted to begin coaching as long as the 1st stage (online) has been started. Your status will appear as In Training.

Stage 1: When ready the prospective coach, at their leisure, may sign up to obtain an NCCP # which will then enable a start with the online training. Visit pnce.baseball.ca
