How to Become an Umpire

To become an umpire you must meet the following criteria:
Twelve years and older
Must have played baseball, or have an excellent knowledge of the game
Must be bilingual
Must be patient and be able to take criticism from coaches or fans
You must attend a weekend course to attain your umpiring level.
This course is given in the Lac St. Louis region in either French or English.
Courses are posted online at http://lacstlouis.baseballquebec.com in the spring.
Equipment will be supplied by the Pierrefonds Baseball Association. The chest protector and mask must be returned by the end of the season.
Dress Code:
Grey dress pants
Navy polo shirt with no logo on it.
Dark socks
Dark shoes or cleats.
