At the end of each season, each association submits its nominations to the Lac St Louis Region for the different categories: Player B, A and AA, Team B, A and AA, Coach B, A and AA, referee, scorekeeper and volunteer. In choosing their winners for the Meritas award, many aspects are taken into account. In addition to their performance, it also reflects their progress, the player’s attendance at team activities, participation in Federation activities (tournaments, championships, etc.), their sportsmanship towards players and other teams and the lack of sanctions in the season.

“Montreal is a baseball town,” said the mayor Coderre as he explains his “new baseball policy” for our boroughs over the upcoming years. The project would see $2 million invested in 2015, $4 million in 2016 and $5 million in 2017.
The Pierrefonds baseball executive committee met with our borough representative in the spring of 2015 to submit our wish list for our city’s fields.
We are happy to share that Pierrefonds will have 3 parks redone as part of the city of Montreal’s new project, starting in 2016 with Alexander Park.

metsWe are proud to announce a newly formed partnership between Pierrefonds Baseball, Pierrefonds Mets (formerly NDG Mets) and Division sports, loisirs & installations de l’Arrondissement Pierrefonds Roxboro.

The Mets are part of the Ron Piché senior league and are recipients of the 2015 organisation of the year.

The Pierrefonds Mets will hold 4 outdoor clinics at Brook park in the Spring/Summer for all Pierrefonds, Roxboro, Ile Bizard and Ste. Genevieve residents, free of charge, to promote baseball and to learn and improve players skills. As more information becomes available it will be posted on our website.

The Pierrefonds Mets will also help run our indoor and outdoor spring evaluations along with our VP, Mr. Vincent Assalone.

Join us in welcoming them to our baseball family!

Fun was had by all. Thank you to all the Pierrefonds players and coaches who participated!!
